The team was task with building the alpha prototype of a mechanical product. After the ideation phase, we decided to design and build the alpha prototype of a Bluetooth controlled spice dispenser.

Rapid prototyping techniques were used to test different dispensing designs towards the proof of concept. After testing we decided to adopt a linear dispensing design. The product was designed in Solidworks, and the build was done using several manufacturing processes such as 3D printing, CNC machining, sheet metal bending, sheet metal lasercutting and sheet metal riveting.
